Myself & my partner enjoyed a Friday evening at Ricca’s & from the minute we arrived we had amazing service with such a welcoming presence! The staff were second to none & couldn’t be more friendly & helpful! The food was honestly so delicious, the king prawns and homemade meatballs are a huge recommendation! It is a hidden gem in Newton Abbot and would definitely suggest a visit! Hilda was also a particular star and we cannot thank her enough for such a lovely evening
Lovely meal at Riccas in Newton Abbot, a must visit for Italian lovers. Traditional food, loads of flavour, great prices and offers, outstanding service and excellent cocktails! I will definitely be returning!
Had the loveliest three-course meal at Ricca’s hosted by Hilda and her lovely team. For starters, we got calamari, breaded mozzarella and mixed olives - I was too squeamish for the king prawns but my partner said they were the best he’s ever had and the other starters were equally as impressive! I had an AMAZING bowl of Penne Pollo Picante pasta for my main - really nicely seasoned and the sauce was actually spicy!! Loved that the Parmesan came in a pot on the side and the garlic bread dome was also a super nice touch. After all that, we were pretty much filled to the brim but just couldn’t say no to that Biscoff cheesecake which was genuinely the best I’ve ever eaten. It’s worth the visit just for the cheesecake in my opinion! All of our dishes were absolutely incredible - so fresh, tasty and flavourful. As a whole, it was a 10/10 experience - the restaurant is an absolute gem xx
We first came last year on our holiday and remembered about it being really good food and service so decided to visit last night with a 6 year old, 3 year old who was sleeping and a 9 month old baby. The 3 year old was so tired we carried him into the restaurant as he was asleep, the waitress opened up a section at the back so he could remain sleeping lie down on the booth and we carry on with our meal just next to him. We ordered our drinks and food I ordered the baby some veg and the lady went off to specially prepare some carrots, broccoli, potatoes and pasta just for her! She returned with a great meal for my daughter - only pic I have of the night!! Our food was lovely too we had the Antipasto for 2, calamari, and goats cheese ciabatta. Followed by an americana pizza, pollo alla griglia, pollo eldorado, linguini gamberi. Nothing to fault with the restaurant. The waitress did make our night though as she was so kind! We will definitely return when we are next in Torquay! Thank you lovely lady
Had the three course xmas menu, it was lovely. Desserts were delicious. I would definitely recommend and return in the future.Food: 4/5
This place.... wow. Service, Ambience and food was all incredible. Calzone filled the damn plate.
Everything was fab! Service was excellent the food is to die for. The wine list was great and the atmosphere here is lovely. Don't go through Newton Abbot with paying them a visit! We will definitely be dining here again when we are in that neck of the woods.

Lovely restaurant. Love how the kitchen is open to see the chefs cooking, the food is freshly prepared and served very hot. Great classic choices, something for all and would highly recommend. Hope that we can use the wine voucher for a pudding instead on our next week visit : THANK YOU!
First visit, found the surroundings extremely good. Service was first class, food was excellent and was served hot. Had an extremely fantastic time here and am looking forward to returning again. Highly recommended so why not go along and have an extremely great meal and time here.
