What a lovely place to stop, we popped on on our way to my sisters. Good clean facilities, fantastic choice of food products, mostly made locally and whilst you pay a little more for them the quality was very good. Nice staff. X
Its ok to go for petrol when its quiet but sadly they fill up with petrol and before paying, they browse around, ordering food , alcohol, etc meaning they dont consider those they block from the pumps. Despite there being room to park elsewhere so they can shop after paying for petrol. Different system needed.
Stopped at this really interesting petrol stop, and we’re really pleasantly surprised. Much more that just a filling station, this stop includes a shop with a great range of locally produced food and was a joy to wander around. Just what we needed whilst taking a break on our trip. This place stuck in my mind and when I’m in the area I will always return to support their venture. Thank you.
Amazing place. All that's been said already is correct - great coffee, good selection of foods - but THE MOST AMAZING CAKES! Will definitely stop by next time we're in the area.
Plenty of parking - a nice stop en route to Western Scotland. Good for breakfast, and the fuel always seems competitively priced. Good takeaway snacks available from the petrol station, too. .
This is a nice petrol station with a lovely shop and toilets. It has a similar feel to the excellent Tebay services on the M6 with many of the same farm shop products- nice sausage rolls etc.
Best service station stop I've been to by far. Great food & great selection of choice.
Staff were unfortunately misinformed / uneducated about what types of fuel cards they can accept. Went in to check they accepted, they looked at the cards and gave me the okay so filled up a full tank, went in to sign it off the card to find that they do not accept any of the 3 fuel cards we had so ended up having to pay outright for a full tank on a company vehicle when it could of been avoided if checked correctly in the first place.
Good shop, fuel reasonable. Great place to call after a drive up to the northern lakes for a fill up for the car and a top up for the cupboard.
Access to fuel station can get a bit crowded not surprising considering the fuel was a really good price but the service and the quality of the products in the shop are top notch.
