In the middle of the 2018 weatherbomb with several centimetres of snow on the ground and still falling fast we took a pitt stop at the UKs favourite service station. On the way in, much to our annoyance, something took a chunk out of our tyre, meaning we had to change the whole thing. We went to the distinctly not busy garage to park out of the driving snow somewhere level and dry in order to perform this task safely. Out of courtesy we checked with the guy at the till to let him know what we were planning. We were then told that due to health and safety no "vehicle maintenance" is permitted on the forecourt. So obviously an icy, snowy carpark in driving snow is more safe for us and other road users to perform this emergency repair task. Do the world a favour and ask your staff to use some disgression in bad weather. Poor show.

We were told they accepted keyfuel cards only to be told after filling our van to the brim that we could not use the card we had previously asked about
