The place is big and filled with lovely items of furniture from the past. Whether it's a decent, well made piece or something you could upcycle. The place is like a rabbit warren to browse around. Not just furniture, crockery, glassware, ornaments, kitchen utensils etc, vintage items everywhere as well as new pieces. A great collection of door knows, door furniture etc, hardware items at reasonable prices. Too much to list. Well worth a visit. The staff are really helpful and polite. They seem to know exactly what items they've got and where to find them, which is truly amazing considering the huge amount of stock. Pop along for a browse around and see for yourself.
You can pick up all sorts of lovely retro/classic or antique bargains! The last time we popped in we got a nice hand drill, an Edwardian drop leaf table and a barometer that needed the most minor of repairs! Lovely staff, a real local institution.
Nice place, they have really old antique stuff, a lot of mirrors furniture, closets etc. NICE,.one should see for themselves.
Amazing place worth visiting numerous times to find hidden treasure.
Ever seen programmes about people who hoard stuff? It's like that but its a shop...Loads of old stuff, retro , junk, antiques reclaimed stuff etc etc. Brilliant stock always changes well priced and well worth a visit...I always end up buying something I don't need. I'll be on a hoarding programme myself one day
Quirky and full of surprises, great for old stuff!
Unbelievable just how big this place is and how much they have in it. I didn't take photos, but the ones on their website are absolutely true. Prices very reasonable. Aladdins cave.
They got loads of great stuff. Almost got lost in a furniture forest. Met furniture fairies that traded my soul for 2 red mushrooms. 10/10 would shop again.
Perfect place for the antique hunter
An Aladdins cave not to be missed, but check the website for open times, because the opening hours can be odd, closed lunchtimes too, other than that, not much not to like and don't be afraid to haggle...
