It is rare these days to be able to unconditionally endorse a company but Restorex has proven themselves to deserve just such an endorsement. I initially chose Restorex based on their written estimate. It was completely professional and covered every aspect of what the job entailed. They came when they said. The work was excellent and completed in a timely manner, the employees were polite and respectful of our property, and the management team made every attempt to keep us informed of their progress. Even when I made calls to their office, the Receptionist spoke to me as if I were a friend. To top it off, the cost of the work was absolutely in line relative to the work/service received. We have used them twice and will be using them again in the coming months. I have recommended the Company to numerous friends and would be happy for anyone to come and see the work which Restorex carried out on our property.

We've carried out a few property conservation projects lately for our Landlords at Nichols Associates. We came across Restorex through a recommendation from a trusted building surveyor, watched their first project closely and have included them in the tender list for any stonework & external repairs ever since. Their approach to costing work is genuine, thorough & fair, more detailed than any competitors and professionally presented. Their prices are competitive against other local skilled & high-quality contractors. Their management team obviously have extensive experience & knowledge of the construction of Edinburgh's Georgian & Edwardian housing stock, offering helpful & impartial advice. They communicate well with us & our tenants, before & during the works, maintaining compliant & safe site conditions throughout the project. Their tradesmen take pride in their work and are supported by an established team of sub-contractors to produce high quality results to a fine level of detail. We have become confident that they will always strive to produce excellent results on every job.

In recent years Restorex have on several occasions given substantial support to me when some problems occurred with the roof at Livingstone Place Edinburgh. In each case there was a serious leak requiring urgent attention because water was entering and causing damage to the ceiling and falling on to the living or bedroom areas. They responded quickly and efficiently, visiting the flat and immediately investigating and making repairs, if necessary of a temporary nature. This was followed up later by a permanent fix. Despite substantial rainfall subsequently, there has been no further recurrence of water ingress. I am very happy to recommend their services to other clients as they were responsive and resolved the problems quickly and professionally.
