Visited last month for a 10th anniversary meal and everything was fantastic!nnJonathon was the perfect host and each dish was explained upon delivery by polite and pleasant staff.nnThe food was fantastic we went for a sharing Chateaubriand which was cooked perfectly and the tuna starter we had was fabulous! and the breads brought beforehand local bitter bread with a marmite butter were outstanding!nThank you so much guys, amazing night!

What a fantastic restaurant! We visited as a treat as we were visiting Bakewell and we’re glad we came. The staff are wonderful and incredibly welcoming. The food was incredible. We had the 7-course tasting menu and each course was unique with such attention to detail. Although it is expensive, it’s reasonable for such a delicious tasting menu which stands up against other restaurants that are twice the price. We can’t wait to come back again soon.

Visited on a Thursday lunchtime for our anniversary. We’ve been to 3 Michelin starred restaurants in the last year, one with 2 stars and this was considerably better than any of them. FYI I’m talking about Belcanto in Lisbon, The Man Behind the Curtain in Leeds and Behind in London.nThe food was delicious, perfectly cooked and the flavours worked so well together.nService was proactive and very friendly and genuine but not over the top.nA relaxed, non pretentious place that we will definitely be returning to.nFood was £188 for 2, including 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 desserts and a bottle of wine, as well as tip.

My wife and I went to this restaurant in autumn last year, and we’re siting here today in Argentina still talking about the steak we had there, and how it still ranks as the best I’ve ever had, the wine pairing was perfect too, as was the service. To this day, it’s still one of the best dining experiences my wife and I ever had. It was the perfect evening, and we’re looking forward to coming back again one day soon. Congratulations to the owners and team for curating such an incredible restaurant and dining experience.

This spot was a true gem.  The dinner tasting menu was delicious to the last bite.  Each course was a happy dance for the taste buds and was a lovely celebration of local produce.  The service and ambiance was on point, and an exceptional wine menu.  I could not recommend Lovage more.
