We were looking somewhere for lunch and came across Cafe 55. Once inside I had a look at the reviews and almost put off by the 1 star reviews but ordered food. When it arrived was pleased with my gammon and eggs, tasty and good value.
Superb food. Professional and helpful friendly staff. Had to knock a star off for the owner berating the staff for the reduced takings due to cutting tables for covid in front of paying customers. Very awkward.
Friendly and attentive staff. Very polite and professional. Everything was spotless and the restaurant well laid out to respect social distancing. Food was very good and reasonably priced.

I love this cafe. We actually come here everytime we visit Scarborough. Great view if you can get a window seat. And the food is lovely can not fault.
Totaly disgusting, the place is dirty. Food tastes nasty, Avoid at all costs dreadfull.
