Keep Renew company as far away from your home as possible. If your insurance company appoints Renew to deal with the flooring part of your claim please go back and ask them to appoint someone else. This company are dishonest, rude, incompetent and quite simply do not care. They turned a two month job into a four month job through getting the most simple things wrong, and it seems the more you chase them on it the longer it takes. Why reputable insurance companies like More Than use these cowboys is beyond me as they cost my insurer thousands of pounds more than what it should have cost if they'd have got it right first time, not to mention my insurance premium. They don't event fit the flooring themselves, they farm this out to local suppliers and even they admit that Renew are useless. If there is a mistake to be made you can guarantee Renew will make it. Avoid at all costs!

Awful company, three people in the company have advised me three different opinions. Had to battle to get my carpet replaced under insurance claim for escape of water. Inspector/technician from renew visited me and said it definitely could not be cleaned and issued a relalcement voucher on the visit yet two other people (one being there chosen retailer who is a 1 man band and the other being there office staff) saying it could be cleaned without having sufficient knowledge of cleaning carpets or having seen it first hand. When challenged by me over the phone regarding this matter they threaten to terminate the call for which I was on hold for an average of 25 minutes each time. After alot of battling they eventually decided that they should replace the carpet. They then massively underestimated the value of the axminster carpet for a cash settlement, they said they could get it way cheap as they have direct links. I investigated this with several high street retailers who could not get anywhere near the low price they had given me per meter squared. Avoid this company like the plague, they are rude and arrogant with no customer service skills at all in any way shape or form. All they want is there share of the money with no sympathy at all of the situation the customer is going through regarding a disaster in their home and hence they insurance claim. Shame on you legal and general for letting this dishonest and a sham of a company to tarnish your name.
