I had my hair coloured today by Emma, who usually cuts my hair. She is an artist, and gave me exactly what I was looking for with a beautiful "rose gold" shade. She was attentive as always and I know I can trust her with my hair. If you're looking for something special with your colour, ask for her! :)

Excellent service. All the girls are very professional. Been in the here a few times to get my hair cut and coloured and I couldn't have been more happier. I always go here when I come to Scotland. I would recommend this salon to anyone!

Awful experience! My stylist Simona showed "pretend empathy" that I'd had a bad fall and my foot was swollen when I arrived. She managed to be rude though! When I was showing her pictures I was told there were too much, I was confusing her and I didn't know what I wanted? I thought that's what consultations were for, where you show pictures of what you like and discuss it? I've never been told this by a stylist.I actually said "Do you just want me to go home?" I wish I had just hobbled away! So, I picked one I liked but she kept saying it was "too dark" and then said she refused to put copper highlights in my hair? I've never had a stylist refuse to put a colour in my hair - a copper that I'd had several times but for some reason, Simona refused. Talk about Simona being confused because I didn't know what I wanted! By the end of the consultation she was adding copper! I told her to be creative with my layers as I have long and thick hair and wanted to experiment. The colour I chose started off dark at the roots and graduated to copper highlights - something different. After it was completed, it was clear that she hadn't listened to anything I said. My highlights were non -existent and you'd need a microscope to find them! The cut was timid and there was no definition. Even the bouncy blow dry I asked for at the end was going flat instantly! By this time, I just wanted out of the shop as I was worried I may have broken or sprained my foot.To make matters worse, I had to wait in the salon for a lift as I couldn't walk far but my mobile was out of charge so I was imprisoned in the salon! It was decent of her to allow me to wait in the salon for my lift (suppose she had to exert empathy in front of the other clients) but it just gave me time to ponder why, oh why does my hair look like a cheap "Nice and Easy" dye job from Superdrug? I phoned the salon a day or two later to say I wasn't happy with my hair as it was too dark and my highlights were non existent. Unfortunately, my health was deteriorating to the point where I was really ill and had to cancel a few appointments and then I was hospitalised in June. Whilst there, I telephoned Simona to apologise and explain I was in hospital and I was hoping she could fix my hair when I got out. I was told she doesn't think she can do my hair again as I've cancelled so many appointments! I was incredulous at this, as I had explained the falls I'd had etc and how several events had precipitated my admission to hospital. I also confessed I was scared that nobody knew what was causing these symptoms and I had to get a heart scan too. I was told in a "pretend empathetic "manner that yes, I was in hospital but what about the times leading up to the hospital when I'd missed my appointments with Simona! I was angry at that as I'd just sat and explained to her the events that had led me to be hospitalised and they were outwith my control, my hair was frankly a mess and not one person knew it had been done and her manner when I'd just met her was so ignorant and hostile! To say that she wasn't going to fix my hair when she knew I was ill and now waiting to get a heart scan was absolutely disgusting and I was really upset at this, as you can imagine if you have empathy! Simona has to work on her "pretend empathy" because all she cared about was her and her reputation. I said I wanted a full refund and to speak to her manager! I was told in a patronising tone to "calm down". She called back to say she could only refund me for the colour as the cut was okay. Again, I was incredulous and ppsaid I'd been trying to be diplomatic but it didn't even look cut. Simona just kept saying she couldn't believe it and nobody has ever complained about her! I said I couldn't believe her as I was sitting in a hospital waiting for a heart scan and all she was talking about was HER! I had to argue with the manager I wanted a FULL refund and refused her offer of a free haircut in any salon instead. I will never step foot in a Regis salon again after that ordeal!!!

Had a fantastic experience with Lauren after a home hair bleach experience went wrong, she was so attentive and got my hair better than I could have imagined. Thoroughly impressed and will definitely be returning, couldn't recommend her enough.
