Theatre itself is clean and tidy, seating arrangement is good, but speakers at the back were not working. It was mentioned at the time, but staff did nothing to resolve, it was even shouted down to the performer Jimmy Carr who acknowledged the issue. When I have sat at the front previously, no issues with sound at all.
The Regent Theatre is an excellent theatre in Stoke on Trent. There is plenty of nearby parking within a few minutes walk of the theatre. The theatre itself has had large investments and is an excellent venue. Refreshments are available and there's a good choice of nearby cafes and restaurants also. Highly recommend taking in a show here.
Be careful how you read the seating plan or you'll end up 4 rows from the back, like I did, not 4 rows from the front. Sound was poor up there and the half inch comedian on stage was only just audible. It wasn't as if I you could read his lips without a telescope.
Went to see Jimmy Carr, great night and great atmosphere
Rocky horror picture show was awesome!nI have a blue badge and was able to park fairly close on a side street.nLifts to all levels, fab staff, easy to get to, great to be in!
