Sat in the restaurant to choose and order our food. Only waited around 15 mins for it to cook. Quality of food was very nice, just wish there were some descriptions of the curries available and indicators of dietary requirements. If you're experienced with Indian cuisine, it wouldn't be a problem. Would definitely order again.

Nice welcome from the staff the food was ok, not perfect, but great flavours. The prawn prui was a little oily and had no salad with it. The main which was chicken tikka pathia was sweet & sour just as I should be. The kema nan had a great tasting middle. I have never eaten here before as I have only visited Clacton a few times but I would return again.

Half our order was missing when delivered so had to call back and chase up. By the time the missing dish was delivered the rest was cold and then what was meant to be a fairly hit dish had no heat only a completely overpowering taste of pepper making it inedible. Worst curry I've ever had.

Having been here before we were looking forward to a quiet evening out with a nice meal. When we arrived there was a group of 6 people on a table near to where we were seated, they were extremely loud and their language was appalling. It would appear that they had been drinking rather a lot. They were abusive about the staff and even when their food arrived they were still shouting and swearing. We were extremely surprised that no member of staff came to ask them to be quieter and to respect other customers - although I would have been too frightened to say anything to any of them for fear of the consequences. When they did eventually leave the restaurant, everybody that was in there clapped their hands, what a relief!!!

Great banquet night. Food excellent, service attentive but not obtrusive and superb value for money. Would have been 5 stars if we had not been forced to listen to the football halfway through the meal!
