Visited this afternoon for a quick lunch as we had been on the road for 2 hours we were super hungry and asked if we could have our food served up ASAP. They did not disappoint. Amazing customer service food was on point. Will definitely visit again when in Newcastle.Food: 5/5
Went for Mother's Day. Glad we booked a table because it was busy. The service was good, and staff were friendly and attentive. Food was delicious, well presented and filling. Atmosphere was nice, despite it being a rainy day, everyone was in good spirits.

So I really thought I will have to write this review here, so hopefully the Red Mezze manager could act on improving their food quality. I placed an order for a hot mezzeh - kofta in tomato sauce for take away. I opened the package at home, and the food contained significant amount of burnt particles/?burnt food. The food tasted very poor like a not fresh meal. I think as a restaurant probably you will have to think of not defrosting and re-heating an old meal likely causing the burnt particles as a result of multiple heatings in the pot and sell it to your customers as a fresh meal. I am so disappointed with the quality, and this review is only so hopefully you will improve your quality… thanks.
Fantastic food been coming to Red Mezze for many years. Excellent service. Nice touch with complementary tea Vegetarian options: Good option for vegetarians.
Really nice turkish restaurant Had the 2 course lunch deal for under £12 I got a saksuka and a moussaka Both were really nice, notably the rice that cane with the moussaka was very fragrant and savory The service was not as good as the food unfortunately. One of the servers was not friendly, which got worse when the place got more busy. Still, I'd recommend this place for the food alone

The first time I came to this restaurant, it was very delicious! Very delicious! The service was also excellent! A waiter named Ahmed had a very good attitude towards us. To be honest, when you drive to Newcastle, you must come to this restaurant for a meal. Next time, I will bring more friends!Food: 5/5
The lunch meal deal was very impressive. I ordered a patlican for starter and chicken shish for main. The chick peas with pomegranate seed tasted smoothly and sour I’m a huge fan of sour flavor lol. Chicken shish was also tasty. Turkish coffee was in a very small cup and also tasted very smoothly. Importantly! The naan bread was the best one I’ve ever had! Soft but chewy. Generally speaking, everything was spot on. Highly recommended
We ordered the Lam Guvee, 10/10 amazing food! Lovely staff. Great prices. Not to mention they closed their kitchen at 10:30 and we arrived at 10:20 and still went above and beyond to accommodate for us. They even left the restaurant open late for us as we were still Eating & Drinking. I would highly recommended this spot. If you’re looking for traditional food and a great service you’ll feel welcome here. Thank you Red Mezze & Ahmed!
