Lovely little restaurant with plenty of choice. The food was gorgeous, I had a mix grill which was beautifully cooked. The sausage was beautiful. My partner had a steak which also was super yummy. We were staying in blackpool for a overnight stay at south shore which is a bit of a distance from Beef Eater. We enjoyed our meal that much, we returned for breakfast the next morning and that too was just as beautiful. Staff and service 10/10 highly recommended for a meal. Nothing was too much trouble.
A great pub for food and drinks! They have outdoor play area facilities for younger children. Staff were friendly and welcoming. This bar has a good choice of beers. I was really impressed with the food! The fish and chips came well flavoured and was very enjoyable! Highly recommended!
I had the 3 course meal and upgraded to the sirloin for an extra £1.50 as its a leaner cut. Unfortunately I appear to have paid extra for more fat and gristle than I would have got on the rump steak. You do seem to get a very small amount of steak sauce for £1.99 too. Food is usually not too bad here so maybe I just got a bad one. But on this visit I wasn't terribly impressed.
Went to my first Beefeater last week and was impressed. Especially as we had a voucher giving 40% of our bill. Got another voucher via e Mail offering one free meal when you bought two. I had also registered for the Rewards card after the first visit and so decided to take a drive out, do some shopping and try another Beefeater establishment. Huge car park outside and it looked a massive building. Easy access even for people with mobility problems. As I said it was huge building and was the same inside. Would hate to guess how many covers they could serve here. I already knew what I wanted having looked at the menu online. I went for the Steak Sampler. 3 x 4oz steaks. Rump, sirloin and fillet. Ordered medium rare. My brother went for the 10oz Gammon, egg and chips. Our server said they had no pineapple so they could give him a second egg. My brother said he thought this would be too much so asked for a few extra chips. He also likes his egg hard. Numerous times we have been out and, despite asking for this, the egg has been soft. Happy to say this wasn’t the case this time. He got his egg well cooked with a hard yoke. And a huge pile of chips. The food was piping hot. Decent sized portions. Obviously at these prices it wasn’t the best steak I have ever had but I definitely had no complaints. Even the peppercorn sauce was good. A little thin but I found it tasty with a decent kick to it. Then came the best bit. The bill. I showed our server the discount code I had on the e mail on my phone and presented my Rewards card. He made a note of the code and took my card away before returning with the bill. I couldn’t believe what we had been charged once the discount had been applied. The £22.99 for the steak had been taken off the bill and the total including 2 pints of lager and a large glass of Rioja was £29.68. Absolutely fantastic value for money. Ok, it’s not the greatest food you will ever eat but in terms of value it’s excellent. I would recommend you get a Reward card and look out for any offers or money off deals online then visit and enjoy a pretty decent meal at a rock bottom price. Like the last Beefeater we visited the place was very tidy. Also nice and warm despite the freezing temperatures outside. I used the disabled toilet. It was spotlessly clean. My brother used the main toilets. He also commented on how clean they were. As long as Beefeater keep sending me such good money off deals I will continue to use them. They have a pretty extensive menu and a number of dishes I would be happy to try. Hopefully will be trying another of their establishments fairly soon. Just a shame there isn’t one closer to home. Parking: Loads of free parking. Several disabled spaces right outside the front entrance. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair friendly. Slightly inclined ramp up to the main entrance. Lowered kerb from disabled parking spots. Dining area, bar, disabled toilet all on ground floor. Didn’t see any steps you would need to climb to access any of these.
The place is nice. We're surprised it's not busy because it's the holiday. Their food is also delicious though we had to wait for it to get prepared for about 10mins or so but it's worth the wait.
Stayed at the Premier Inn next door so dead handy to come here for an evening meal or just a drink. We had drinks Friday afternoon and ate in the restaurant on Saturday night. The food was excellent and it was served by very friendly staff.
Staying at the nearby hotel, this seemed the obvious place for eating and I've had some quite good meals there in the past - but felt this experience fell short of what I'd had before. It certainly seemed to take some time before the meals came - a good 30+ minutes - and the meal didn't feel too hot, as though they'd all been prepared some time earlier but had been sitting waiting. I didn't seem to have a great deal of chips with the steak - I seemed to recall Beefeater's came with "bottomless chips" but he waiting staff never seem to offer any. It was find for a quick bite, but not as great as I recall. The Sunday night was worse... I'd ordered lamb with potatoes and peas, but although the lamb was good the potatoes were quite dry and the peas hard, like they'd been reused from lunchtime. Again, the meal wasn't too warm, feeling as though it had been sitting around for a bit. I've stayed there for a few weekends now and I've a feeling I'm going to eat out somewhere else Sunday night.
Fabulous place. Also the waiter was great didn’t get his name. Food was perfect.
We come here quite regularly. The staff are always very attentive and so lovely, especially Molly who is great with us and our little girls. The food is always great but it was exceptional today, especially the hash browns and the fried eggs!! So top marks to Chris in the kitchen this morning.. :
