A very cute restaurant with lovely service. Very welcoming & clean. However the food is a massive letdown. Broccoli chowder tasted of water-bread from a loaf of bread.
The cutest restaurant I've ever come across! Food was delicious! Rich in flavour and stunning presentation! If you're in the area defos worth a visit!!
Had a lovely freshly cooked meal on a rainy Sunday night. I especially enjoyed the duck breast with a fruity green peppercorn sauceFood: 5/5
What a lovely 'red' suprise as we were hungry, new to the island and need to send our friend off to ferry after dinner! The little germs with 1 waiter and few table offers excellent Brisith cuisine, especially fish, dont miss it ;
Can’t give it 5 stars as it’s not a 5 star restaurant if you know what I mean but we couldn’t fault the food, we had the duck, swordfish and monkfish on our table and all great, the starters and sweets were good too.Food: 5/5
we order pork chop, eye rib steak, both are good. Staff is warm hearted. But, pork with red wine, I think, is sort of strangeous.
Very friendly welcome and nice, prompt waiting service. The menu looks good with lots of variety but I felt the savouries didn't quite achieve the promise, so for me, it was overpriced. My desert – the Pineapple and ginger ice-cream was the highlight of the three courses. The bench seats are not ideal, but probably ok for some.Food: 3/5
New Year’s Eve - Wonderful food, beautifully cooked and well presented . Would very much like to go again and recommend to friends . Atmosphere less good but only , and it was NYE , because the restaurant was half empty . Apparently, because of storms , there were many last minute cancellations .Food: 5/5
Great place, highly recommended. Proper restaurant with home cooked excellent foodFood: 5/5
We chose this restaurant because it has plenty of vegetarian choices and some unusual options. Our main courses were really tasty and the portions were generous - we had the Haloumi and Asparagus Pad Thai, and the Cauliflower and Brussel Sprout Crepes. On the down side much of the asparagus in the Pad Thai was chewy and inedible. When I let the staff member know about this I got a slightly defensive response of 'you never can tell, I bought some tangerines which looked good the other day but they didn't taste good'. You can test the tenderness of asparagus whilst cooking it so this wasn't the best excuse. I ordered the creme brulee for dessert and it wasn't good - hot at the top, cold at the bottom and very eggy tasting. Service is slow - we waited 30 minutes for our mains and at that point we were the only customers in the restaurant. Later customers were told it would be a 30-40 minute wait. Overall it was good though and there were other main courses I would go back to try. The prices are very reasonable.
