Amazing place, great food, good price. For a place called Red Chilli, food was not that spiced. Maybe I should have requested it, but usually in Indian restaurants is the opposite story. Amazing meat samosas but the lamb shack with rice and nan was even better.
Needing a meal within east walking distance of Aldgate East tube, we found the Red Chilli. We were really pleased with our choice. The staff were friendly and polite, and the atmosphere and decor were really nice. The food was freshly made, great portion sizes and delicious. My only gripe, and this has nothing to do with the restaurant or the staff, was the loud and obnoxious group of four foul mouthed drunken middle aged men in the corner - what is it about guys, beer and Indian restaurants where they feel they can act this way? I think the staff were patient with them, but their behaviour and language was frankly unacceptable - but don’t let this put you off. I would happily eat there again. Thank you.
We were sat down in the cozy corner table next to the bar. The food was very well presented and tasted even better, drinks amazing as well. Staff were friendly and attentive. I only took pictures of the starters and drinks cause when the mains arrived it looked so good and I was so hungry that I completely forgot about it . I love the little “hob” that keep the food warm on the table. It wasn’t the first time we went there and for sure it will not be the last. Keep going guys you’re doing a great job.
A beautiful Indian restaurant very close to Tower Of London and Tower Bridge. We visited for a PYO Progressive Youth Organisation friends gathering. Great decor, clean and very spacious in restaurant. The staff were very friendly and kind. The starters were beautifully presented very tasty and hot. Main courses followed straight after. We had a set requested menu which was prefect for our group palette and restaurant made it specifically to our needs. The food was tasty, hot and delicious. The empty plates and smiles proved everyone andvery happy. If you local looking for a nice place to eat please do pop in you wont be disappointed and the prices are very reasonable as well.
Where should I start. Once we arrived, we felt like home. The stuff treated us with such a respect, they were smiling all the time and they were very kind. We ordered chicken tikka masala, chicken korma and chicken nuggets. Let me say it was the best meal I've ever had. Passion coctail drink tasted delicious too. I really recommend this place to everyone. Hope to come back again soon.
We had an amazing time at Red Chilli, staff was so kind and we felt welcomed there. We tried their Tikka Masala, it was totaly awesome. Prices were good too. Definetely recommend visiting Red Chilli.
Excellent dinner with my wife. They left us come in at 23h00. Tasty lamb and delicious chicken tandoori. Prices are OK.Food: 5/5
One of the best indian restaurants I've ever eaten in, the food is absolutely banging can't fault anything service was great friendly and was given a free drink eaten here twice now and will definitely visit again when we're in LondonFood: 5/5
10/10! Visiting London from Canada with my sister and we are here tonight. The food is absolutely delicious! The best Indian food we’ve ever had BY FAR! The service was fantastic and the portion sizes are very filling. Highly recommend anyone in London eat here local or visiting :D
Overall, it was not bad but was not great either. Ordered the lamb shank and garlic chicken and was “warned” it was very spicy. I noted that we were getting the “medium” spice, but were still told it would be spicy. The spices from the hot plate for the chicken were steaming off the plate, making it a little hard to breathe. That aside, the dish was only a little spicy. A bit of a creeper but not bad. If you like spice, I would recommend getting the 2 or 3 pepper level. The lamb was not spicy at all. It was in a sweet sauce which I likened to a sweet and sour sauce. That was a bit disappointing given the previous comment on spice. Service was a bit lacking. Perhaps they are understaffed or just not as attentive. Waited a bit for someone to get me a check and I even had to take it up, since he was distracted with other things like sweeping. Although it was good, I will likely not be returning.
