Opened new account today, Only had to wait a couple of minutes before being seen by a customer service adviser. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The branch seems to be operating with a skeleton staff and there is large notice near the counter saying that they don't accept abuse etc from customers. This does not create a good impression. It's no longer possible to telephone the branch directly as its number now diverts to a call centre. It is clear from the reality of the branch that A: it is not "business as usual" B: That they are no longer "always there for you" The CEO of RBS England and Wales (was supposed to be Williams's and Glynn) has apparently also left or been given a new role within the group. Situation seems unstable and extremely badly communicated to its loyal customers. RBS is either last or almost bottom in recent Which customer satisfaction survey.

Don't take any notice what opening times this says. Just been at 9.30 wasn't open!!!!!
