Totally chaotic queuing set up in there. Usually only one cashier. Often dealing for several minutes counting in cash note by note. Staff can randomly appear from the back office and come to the queue to ask what you want. They then go off and attend to a query often by going inside to the cashier’s till. May take the query to an automated terminal. Places lost in queue. Total shambles. Presume it’s due to being hopelessly understaffed? Why can’t I leave zero stars?
The rudest staff I have ever experienced. I went to NatWest to withdraw cash from MY account and they refused to let me until I provided an invoice for what I need the money for. MY OWN MONEY. I didn’t realise you had to provide evidence for what you spend your hard earned cash on. I have ADHD and their rudeness and aggressiveness from the minute I asked for my own money, they did nothing but push me and push me which of course impacts my disability massively. The staff didn’t seem to care in the slightest and are just vile robot like workers who don’t care about you or your disabilities. Avoid at all costs. Disgusting service.
Do not put your money in this bank, there customer service is absolutely appalling, if you want to draw your own money out you are not allowed without showing them an invoice to prove what you are buying! You can not call to arrange as they no longer accept phone calls, nothing but hassle.
Not been there for a while and as I go to work Monday to Friday I only get chance to go in on Saturdays. Just been to find they are now closed on Saturdays! Absolutely fantastic now I will have to take time off work to go to the bank. What's gone wrong with the world? Bring back Saturday opening and give the staff there jobs back. This is of no use to the working people that use banks
I have read previous reviews and felt that a new review was necessary. The counter staff are overworked because other banks have closed in Nantwich. They are always friendly and helpful. Many of the other comments are reflective of the company not the branch. Users should recognise the need to support the local branch or else it will close and banking in Nantwich will become faceless. excellent service requires praise
If you’re a teenager, don’t bother trying to set up a bank account here because you will just be let down. I went to this bank three times, hoping to start a bank account, and each time I was told I needed different documents to prove my address etc. The mere fact that my mum and I have different surnames, which I thought was a common enough thing, was enough to confuse them. Not only were the staff unreliable and clearly unsure what I had to do, they were also incessantly rude and ignorant, especially the manager, putting across that I should know exactly what I need to do to join, even though every staff member we spoke to told us something different. I shall not be trying for a fourth time, if I can’t trust them to know how to join the bank, how can I trust them with my money?
I am completely amazed by the inconsistency of NatWest as a whole! This branch has ludicrous opening times, and the branch "manager" lacks any concept of customer service. The online system for applying for accounts is also a shambles. Manchester Deansgate branch staff were at least able to give us the correct documentation which the automated online system did not, and by the time we could get an appointment to see anyone to finally sort out our application and get our account open, the application had closed. It was only thanks to the efforts of the staff at the Crewe branch that we managed to get our account open - at the cost of having to go through another credit search.
Regular Tramps outside, dirty windows, dirty covid screens inside, rudest staff you could ever meet in a Bank. Disappointing living in Nantwich to bank here. Arranging changing Banks asap. Hopeless customer service.Dreadful
No option to leave no stars! Queued for 30 minutes. Staff rude and unhelpful also watched a dog being fed through the window slobber on counter don’t care about hygiene. Gladly mum will be closing hey account and going to Halifax
Friendly, helpful staff who are sadly overworked and under pressure. Too few counter positions available leading to long & frustrating delays in queues. Branch suffering from removing frontline staff in favour of forcing customers to deal with ATMs or going online. Sometimes, you just want to do business with another person.
