Used Ratcliffes for our house sale and purchase earlier this year. Always able to speak to the solicitor when necessary, kept us updated on the big things without inundating us with paperwork. A fair bit cheaper than other local solicitors. Would recommend.

Used this solicitor for a house purchase in 2015 and they were excellent. Did everything that was asked, followed up when requested and always able to get through and speak to the actual solicitor rather than administration assistant! She was excellent and would not hesitate in recommending them for any house sale or purchase.

Very bad. Quoted circa £2000 knowing I didn't have much money and I wanted to pay up front. Then after realising I did not have the money to continue sent me a £1800 bill and a court summons for work carried out I did not authorise and agree to pay for. They was supposed to only do work on a prepaid basis. Avoid or be dissapointed !!! Did nothing on file for months and yet sent bill exaggerated bills through. More than happy to discuss further if you contact me
