I had an amazing time at rangrez. The food exactly what I was craving and now it’s gonna be my go to spot for my entire time in London. I would highly recommend rangrez as it’s exactly what you would wanna have. The quality of the food is amazing and the service is very good with a lovely atmosphere. Would really recommend everyone to come here at-least once. It’s gonna be memorable.
Absolutely 100% authentic North Indian Food. I had been craving the taste of those North Indian spices and had had walked down the streets searching for the same because I miss home. Finally came across Rangrez and the the dishes rejuvenated my taste buds and I couldn't stop eating. My tummy was full but the soul wanted more. The spicy corns couldn't be any better and the curries met the expectation, big time. Must try the Garlic naan and dal makhni!!! Paneer and chicken tikka are legit straight from the the streets on Delhi. The ambience multiplies the time there and the songs bring back the the good time. Not to forget the staff and the humblest owner. we were treated as a family and not as the guests. It did feel like home there and every aspect had my heart. Put simple, MUST GO and you wouldn't be disappointed. I can't stop blabbering..
So tasty! Doesn't blow your head off. You can appreciate all the flavors and the staff give great advice. I chose Chicken Momos--a bit like Chinese dumplings, but crispier, lighter, and spicy. I then went for the new fish curry which, rather than chucks of fish, was a large piece of premium fish in delicious sauce. So much sauce that I ordered some butter na'an in good advice, which was an eye opener. Crispy and thin in the middle, they were not at all the reason I didn't order them from the outset. A revelation. Onion bajis were small and vibrant, crispy and not dripping in oil. Apparently they use rapeseed oil which is lighter than most restaurants. i was adle to eat and drink everything with no discomfort. Tasteful decor. Good, varied, and unobtrusive music. I walked in because of the window posters attested to "awards" and was not disappointed! Large bottles of cold Kingfisher FTW.
Visited with my father prior to a Genesis tribute at Hammersmith Eventim Apollo. Service was somewhat absent for most of the meal but the food certainly made up for it. Peshawari Naan Garlic Naan Pulao Rice Lasooni Chicken Saagwala Chicken Tikka Masala A wonderful flight of flavours. Saagwala in particular was just the treat for the terrible cold I had at the time. We shared a 2 seat table close to the window to watch the world go by. Nice meal, top company and a good time had by all.
A very lovely place which serves very traditional Punjabi cuisine The chef is from Delhi and he knows his stuff and the food is simply Devine The prices are post pandemic but the location is next to Apollo and a pre theatre visit for a meal this places ticks all the boxes The Chef did come and speak to us and it felt like a very friendly place Highly recommended If you are in this area please visit
I would really recommend this place for a pre or post meal of Hammersmith Apollo Theatre. The dishes were really tasty and the staff were attentive. We didn't book a table in advance.
What a brilliant little quirky restaurant... Not a huge place but staff were really helpful and friendly. Ordered some drinks sprites and coke however they run out of coke so someone ran down the road to the local newsagents.. personally better for me as coke tastes better from the can then pump. The main menu was not as big as I thought it would be, seemed more vegetarian dishes then chicken/lamb. The decor was really nice, clean and there was a really nice smell from a insense burner. Food was really tasty! Loved it. Poppadoms were not freshly cooked but still very tasty. Toilets are down stairs.. mind you don't turn right or you'll be given an apron and a job. Overall absolutely loved this restaurant for food/staff. Very handy if your visiting the apollo too.
Staff were friendly enough but not much interaction, food was very expensive for the portion size, the curry came in what looked like something more appropriate for a starter or side dish. Curry nice but nothing special, I've had much better and there was only around 7 curries to choose from. £30 for curry rice naan and 1 drink is very expensive, even for London.
First of all Amazing food, amazing vegetarian and non-vegetarian options available, if you're a fan of Indian spices and taste, you will love this place. Service was amazing throughout, very friendly staff and the owner was also very friendly. Would surely bring my family and friends again to enjoy. Thank You Rangrez.
Serioulsy dissapointing. Have not been here for quite some time and was really looking forward for it. Incredibly small menu. Shocking really. The poppadoms... well, broken pieces and the little tray with the chutneys was half full and with only 1 spoon. The fish pakora was microwaved, what a disgrace!! The main courses were nice and tasty but as the menu was so limited ended up being dahl and rice and bread... The water took a long time to arrive tap water but oh..the beer was very quick. Price wise, very expensive for what we ate, £66 for a tiny bit of poppadoms, microwaved fish, 1 dalh and 1 panner, 1 plain rice, 2 breads and 2 beers. Even taking out the beers, lets say £10, £55 is incredibly expensive for what we had. Tasty mains, but...not worth the trip.
