We love the Raj. This has become our children's favourite restaurant. The food is excellent and less heavy than other Indian places. Service is always good and my daughter loves the funky Indian music! If you haven't yet, try it!

Awful experience! We ate here on Tuesday and had the meal deal. The food was very bad, the vegetable balti was so sweet that it was inedible, the rest was bland and greasy. Whilst still eating our starters we were brought the main, we had said we weren't ready for it but were told that we had to have it as it was ready and getting cold. We ate what we could of the mains, both vegetable dishes were made with frozen vegetables and the 'vegetarian special' which was £3 extra tasted like a bad shop-bought korma sauce. We asked for the bill. After waiting 30 minutes and being ignored (as new customers were seated and their orders taken), my partner approached the counter and asked to have a quiet word with the Manager. She mentioned the bad quality of the food, how our starters were rushed and how we had just been waiting over 30 minutes for the bill. The Manager was very aggressive and threatening, saying she could not insult his food and that we had asked for the bill to be delayed?! When she suggested a discount, he again was very rude and arrogant and tried to withhold her card saying that if we left a bad review he would charge more money to her card! On leaving he approached us again, he asked for our addresses saying solicitors would be involved if we left a bad review and that we could not complain about 3 issues during one meal! This man has a disgusting attitude, I dread to think how he treats his staff if he is like this to customers! Overpriced inedible food and appalling customer service ... AVOID

Had a excellent food with a friend, tandoori mix special, something I'd never have tried.Wonderful friendly service at descent price, highly recommended #bestin Wiltshire.
