Rainbow Palace

Food was pretty decent. Service was shockingly poor. Was sat at the rear end of the restaurant and pretty much forgotten about. Waited ages between courses. Table was full of plates and glasses which was never cleared away. Had to go to the bar to order drinks because no one seems bothered with us to take orders. I complained midway through the night and things improved somewhat but still nowhere near the expected standard. Waitress all wearing masks still so couldn't understand much of what was being said until they thankfully saw sense to pull the masks down and speak. Spent a lot of money, sorry, wasted a lot of money on what should have been a nice evening. Shame because in the past it has been a great place to dine. Owners really need to get a grip of the situation there. You may notice that I am not at all happy.

I recently ordered takeout from Rainbow Palace, a Chinese restaurant located in town. Instead of having the food delivered, we decided to collect it ourselves from the restaurant. The staff at Rainbow Palace were friendly and welcoming upon our arrival, and we were impressed with the cleanliness and overall ambiance of the restaurant. We placed our order at the counter and were given a rough estimate of how long it would take to prepare. The wait time was reasonable and the food was freshly prepared upon our arrival. We were pleased with the quality of the food, as it was flavorful and delicious. The portions were generous, and we had enough for leftovers the following day. One thing that stood out to us was the attention to detail in the presentation of the food. Each dish was carefully arranged and looked visually appealing, making the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, our experience with Rainbow Palace was positive. The staff were friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the food was of good quality. We would certainly consider ordering from them again in the future.

What a great night! We arranged to go out from work. There were over 40 of us! The service we received was top notch. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. We were all very impressed. Thank you. Dietary restrictions: We were all asked about dietary requirements.

First time visit and definitely won't be the last. Food was amazing. Service was quick but not to quick that you felt rushed. Nice and clean and lots of choice on the menu. Highly recommend.Food: 5/5

It's a lovely place and a great menu. I had king prawns ,green peppers in black bean sauce .it was spoilt by salt .why do the chefs use too much salt .you can add this at the table but it can't be removed from the sauce once cooked .I hope the chef will correct this because it spilt my meal .great service, lovely place. Shame .maybe I'll give it another chance

Great place and does Gluten Free which is amazing. Just ensure you don't have anything fried if Gluten free as they use oil that has been cross contaminated. However don't let that put u off, the meals from the wok were amazing.Food: 5/5

Food was good. Service poor. Would not recommend unless you mind waiting. We waited half hour to get someone’s attention to order coffees and get the bill and then was told they needed the table back! Wouldnt have been a problem if we hadn’t felt invisible for the past half hour!

Have been using this restaurant for over 40 years, we know the owner, Be, his food is excellent, the service is fast, the friendly staff, can't do enough for you. Also they always ask if you have any food aligies, this is good for anyone who has.

fantastic place, highly recommended to anyone who is thinking of going to a Cantonese restaurant, staff are amazing, the atmosphere is brilliant & B the owner is a really nice chap..been going for years & I absolutely love the place..top marks for Rainbow Palace.Food: 5/5
