If you want cheap parking to and from London you can come to Haywards Heath with £8 parking using Apcoa parking app which is good if you are coming from Brighton and Sussex
Well what can I say? As a railway station it’s ok when it works lol Is the only station I come across that tapes the barriers shut incase people try to pass them assuming that the barriers are switched off Good taxi rank outside and usually has a fleet of Taxi’s waiting for would-be train passengers to their destinations. When the railway is closed for repair, a nice selection of busses and coaches occupies the outside parking area for bus enthusiasts to take photos of. I was informed by railway staff that the barriers were sealed off to stop passengers going to wait for railway replacement busses on the platform. Liam Neeson’s life is in the line as “The Commuter”, a film Southern Rail can be proud of
Got served by Cheryl this morning and missed my train due to her spraying and cleaning even 5 seconds! I always use my smart card and top up every month but today was the first time getting served by cheryl & she was doing unnecessary checks. Really annoyed by her attitude and the way she continuously kept spraying and wiping I was there for about 3 minutes and within that time she has sprayed & wipes about 5-6 times when she knew I was in a hurry there’s keeping clean & there’s also taking p
Again my early train is cancelled,no information showing this on the dot matrix information board and the platform staff are just as bad by not making any announcements and informing anybody. What's the purpose of having any staff to assist passemgers if all they do is occasionally walk up and down, see a train in and depart on a platform and then go back in their staff room
Like SERIOUSLY! DO YOU REALLY MIND KEEP WATCHING YOUR TICKETS MACHINES? YOU GOT ONE ON THE ROAD ENTRANCE WHICH IS ALWAYS OUT OF SERVICE. How hard is it to place second ticket machine or at least to keep one you got in working order. It makes people to go on another side and miss trains. What about elderly people who is collecting tickets? Selfishness is your main description. Laziness is your secondary although giant description. Shame!
Not reviewing whole station, but just wanted to say thanks to worker on platform 1/2 tonight who was exceptionally helpful and polite to me tonight. Didn't get his name unfortunately. Also chap.in pumpkin café got me a tea when he was about to lock up and saved me from hypothermia!
Terrible service behind the counter. Girl sounds eastern European very Roud.
Simple station, easy enough to get around. I used to come here every day when I was travelling to Sussex Downs College in Lewis back in the mid-2000s. It definitely got bigger but no harder to navigate.
The newly-built 'Information' office is useless. I waited, stood at the window, for over 5 minutes while the 2 Southern employees inside appeared to avoid me at all costs... I appreciate that this is almost definitely a Southern problem, but really everyone needs to get their acts together for the customers who are paying hundreds of pounds a month for this 'service'.
It is like a lot of railway stations, it is old but clean, can't be easy keeping it clean as it is quite high so gets windy and dust and dirt must blow in, it has lifts for passenger use to reach the platforms, plus a coffee shop which looks okay, probably pricey though, I have no complaints about the station or staff, in addition the ladies toilets on both platforms are very clean whenever i have needed to use them, and appear to have been refurbished.
