Lovely train station with most of the facilities. fully disabled wheelchair access toilets and elevators. Big staff team and most of helpful and friendly. Cab pick up / drop off point at the entrance. a big Waitrose next to train station. This station being served by Southern, Gatwick and ThamesLink. Overall a good station.
A pleasant country station with four platforms. Haywards Heath is well staffed with good facilities. Most trains on the Brighton mainline stop here. During service disruption many stop here. There are good onward taxis, if a little pricey.
Haywards Heath station is accessible on either side. The main entrance is on the east side of the station and leads into the concourse, which connects to a subway with step-free access to all four platforms via lifts. Staff is friendly. There is multi story car park space. Has flat rate for 24 hours parking so feels expensive if for short stay.
The staff at Haywards Heath are second to none.nnI work for a charity and we have different groups travelling by train.nnIf we have our younger PALS they are geenerally autistic group, but multiple different special needs, they are very helpful and understanding.nnWhen it comes to STARS, our complex needs, wheelchair users, they could not be more helpful.nnGenerally we tend to go on a trip to London, Worthing, Eastbourne or Brighton.nnEvery time, the staff are so accommodating and holds trains back to let us on. They supply us with ramps and they move into the carriage and ensure that we have enough space.nnI can't speak any highly of their work attitude and kindness towards us.nnOkay, I can. HH Station, you have a beautiful gaggle of staff and we/I added eternally grateful for your help, assistance and kindness. X
Nice shopping area, got a shopping centre and everything. Easy access shopping too!
