Very busy station but there is decent cover to await your train in all weathers plus the upgrade to the station had been of great value to passengers.

thank you to the young man with long hair on the barriers at haywards heath station on the morning off the12 feb,if it wasnt for your helping me i would have missed my 10.33 train to hastings,great service,

Well what can I say? As a railway station it’s ok when it works lol Is the only station I come across that tapes the barriers shut incase people try to pass them (assuming that the barriers are switched off) Good taxi rank outside and usually has a fleet of Taxi’s waiting for would-be train passengers to their destinations. When the railway is closed for repair, a nice selection of busses and coaches occupies the outside parking area for bus enthusiasts to take photos of. 😃 I was informed by railway staff that the barriers were sealed off to stop passengers going to wait for railway replacement busses on the platform. Liam Neeson’s life is in the line as “The Commuter”, a film Southern Rail can be proud of 😂
