Well this must be the worst Fish n chips meal ever. Please see the photo. Went here based on other reviews but I can honestly say this is the worst we have ever had. I have no idea why it gets such Good reviews but I’m assuming it’s based on the price of it as it is cheap, very cheap. I would much sooner pay more for quality. Take a look at the photo. 2 bites later and the lot was in the bin. Firstly, the lady behind the counter was rude as it was clear she just wanted to close despite 30 minutes left before closure. There was nothing in the heater racks so one thought that it would all be cooked fresh. Well it was to some extent but all the timings were incorrect as such the entire meal both for me and my partner was stone cold when we drove the 1 mile home and they was well wrapped as well! The peas came out of the microwave as did the gravy. The chips and fish were stone cold. The entire lot had to be reheated. Granted they were cooked enough but stone cold. All the fish and chips were stuck to the paper and it was a job and half to pull all the paper of the meal to make it edible. The fish was terrible. As the picture shows no batter on it all and very very small and tasteless and again stone cold. The ratings it gets at this rate are unbelievable. There are plenty of other local nearby which out it to shame. Waste of money and won’t ever go here again.
Delicious chips and the Chinese curry sauce was delicious too. Decent prices for the portions you get. Will definitely go again.Food: 5/5
Best chippy in the area, I travel from Euxton as it’s the best. The only criticism is the opening hours, they are too few, eg, not open Saturday teatime or Sunday and close at 6.30pm whereas 8pm would be helpful. A couple of odd reviews on here - eg batter too thick - then just ask for a lightly battered fish and they will happily do it for you
Best chippy in Chorley. Fresh, cheap and friendly staff. Belting.

The kind of traditional chippy I remember as a kid,Food: 5/5
Easily the worst chippy in Chorley. The reviews MUST be fake, to get this high. They dont take card, and no cash machine near by... So that was a little faff. Next, while stood queueing, they like to take orders off friends and regulars outside over people stood at the front. When I finally got my order taken, and waited for those behind me to get their food first, I noticed my food to start being bagged. Then a regular ordered a sausage... There was one in the heater... The one for my order. Yep, they got that... So I had to wait 15 minutes for another sausage while my bagged food got cold. Finally, get home and open the food. Wow,the SMALLEST portion of chips I've ever seen. Actually comically small. Fish was extremely greasy and small too Wouldn't like to see how small a small fish is!! Chips actually ok, gravy salty and curry standard. This is a cheapo back street chippy. Certainly not a high quality one. There are FAR better chippies near by, who have actually lower reviews! So I'm suspicious some reviews on here are fake or done by folk who have no idea about fish and chips. Avoid, go to J Seas or Queen Vic. They are levels above this place.
Tried chips and gravy, was lovely. Will be back again. Prices looked great for things like fish and chips on their board compared to what other places are charging now adays.
First ever visit today and very impressed with quality and prices. Gorgeous steak pudding and huge portion of large chips. Will definitely return and try fish next time. Very busy at 11.30am opening. Full of locals and workers
Excellent prices and the chips are sooooo very nice. I won't go anywhere else for my chippy tea or lunch.
