The racing was enjoyable and the weather was good, which all helped make a good experience. The racecourse had put lots of seating out for anyone to use which was very nice. It wasn't easy to find the loos they weren't open where the signs pointed to, but once found they were good facilities. Didn't try any catering facilities. It was a good afternoon out.
Once you get past the entrance gates, turnstiles and multiple event staff issuing and checking tickets, the place is a traditional countryside National Hunt racecourse, although the current management are trying to improve its image with information boards. Plenty of places to get ripped off, I mean to eat and drink either at the racecourse bars and restaurants or the numerous burger, sweet £15 per kilo, I'd rather buy steak! or drink shacks. If you're more interested in the sport on offer then it's well worth a visit, except on Boxing Day when it's rammed and getting through Rasen is a bottleneck, just like the shambolic entrance gates to the racecourse!

Lovely friendly racecourse. Well organised in all departments. Not got the feeling of York or Doncaster, but you get what you pay for and would thourally recomend
Great day out for all the family if family day or on your own or as a group. Plenty of drama, great atmosphere. Shelter in County Enclosure and food stalls
Good day out racing. Bit disorganised with the tickets and entrance. Qued in one que and got told oh you should be in the other. Changed ques. oh you shouldn't be queuing here. Signage was miss leading on which que we should be in. But lady was trying her best. Missed the first 1 races due to taking so long to get in. Arrived 11.15. Parking was well organised but full up as well. And vehicles getting stuck. Very busy. Paid extra for county enclosure. But so over sold. Ended up spending our day in the tatters.. bit of a shame. As we where late getting in all the food stands where busy. Especially when you have a 12yo. And 7yo. Ran out of hot chocolate as well.
Really good race day experience in the Lawn enclosure for Boxing Day. Only improvement would be a couple of more food stalls.
Boxing day arrived in good time however very poor organisation missed first two races due to chaos in the county enclosure parking . No communication from Stewards as to reason why or what alternatives were on offer. Disappointing spoilt the day .
For me it was a long drive to get there, but well worth it. The staff very helpful and friendly. A good day out.
Went boxing day free parking, only 20 quid in the Tattershall area for a day out of fun, 7 races lots of food outlets, enjoyed the live band and sun was out we had a great time bagging 4 winners, great course for viewing the races, fun atmosphere for all
