Lovely historic building with a lot of character and waiter who really engaged and interacted with us. Very good service and really decent food with little wait time as well as brilliant value for money

We stopped here for a bite to eat after a long journey. We had Sunday roast and it was delicious and cooked to perfection. The barman was brilliant- very attentive but not in your face and had a good laugh with him.
