Decent carvery with friendly and attentive staff. Price of kids meals was slightly high at 8.50 not including drink or ice cream. Food on the carvery was really good with plenty of variety.
I went here for a carvery. There is parking for all, though limited. Entrances for all people. The staff were friendly and helpful and we we were shown to a table of choice. The carvery, you have to go to the bar,decide on plate size, pay for carvery and drinks, you are given a slip of paper for the carvery and drinks are brought to your table. Again carvery is simple. Choice of 3 meats from 4, and then it's your choice as you walk past vegetables. The food was well cooked, tasted delicious. Will go there a again
Went for a Carvery on Sunday and it was good. Choice of well cooked meats and a plethora of vegetables - Carrot & Swede, Cauliflower Cheese, Roast Parsnips. Lovely gravy, ice cold beer on tap and friendly staff. Awesome
I visit about one or twice a month for carvery, usually top notch but last 2 or 3 times the carvery seems to have gone downhill a little. Hopefully, not a long term trend. I'll be back in another week or 2, and hopefully I'll be upgrading this to 5 stars!
Visited 3 times now and tried 3 different items from the fantastic menu. Each time I've gone away with a full belly. Food is brilliant and presentation is awesome too. I can't fault the place. Ignore the bad reviews below, full of whinging people who knock off stars for trivial reasons. Get over yourselves. I'll keep coming back as the menu has so many dishes I still want to try!!
Go here all the time for carvery. Best one for miles. So much choice of veg and meat always lovely. Plus staff so friendly with my toddler too. She loves it too.
Visited last Saturday and whilst it was busy, we received excellent service from Stuart and his team... food was gorgeous with huge portions ... The burgers are immense Kids menu is great and comes with ice cream too Thank you so much and see you again soon x
Ordered 2 mixed grills medium rare. An hour later and we are still waiting for food, sat at the table with no cutlery. When the food eventually came out the chips were cold and re-fried on both meals. Spoke to a member of staff who took them back to the kitchen. The manageress came out to us arguing that the chips were hot try learning some people skills!! Eventually the food came back out, thrown on the plate. Steak was like leather very well done the chicken was dry. Lamb over cooked and un eateable.
We had our Christmas Dinner here me n 4 friends it was very very nice hot plenty of choice and as much as you wanted staff were lovely and friendly would definitely book again
Highly recommend the mixed grill, so good and I won't need to eat for a few days - so full. Good price, great food. Really good.
