Beware of this place! The workers told us that the chips were fried in vegetable oils, but the owner later revealed that they are fried in beef dripping. No wonder I was kept awake by horrible reflux after I ate here! Vegetarian options: Not even the chips are suitable for vegetarians!
Fantastic chip shop, cheap kids meal that are perfect size. Will keep coming back. The service is fast and the staff have been lovely every time that I've been there. Can be very busy and can be a queue, but they seem to go through it very quickly.
Grabbed a selection of dishes before hitting the ferry. Delicious fish and chips, haggis not bad either. Staff were lovely and even gave me a taster of the deep fried pizza for free!
Best and favourite chippy in Dunoon. Staff are wonderful. Food is perfect every single time. Never have to wait or long even when bust. Food is always warm on delivery. Could never fault them. Best chippy going round here. Would never go anywhere else.
I placed an order for a good old fashioned sausage supper. I didn't have to wait long; the service was prompt, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. They gave me a larger portion of chips than some other chippies, and the sausages were delicious, but the batter was thin and tasteless. The chips were OK, not the worst I've ever eaten but certainly not the finest; some were hard, while others were mushy. Overall, it was satisfactory, encouraging me to return and give them another try. 3 out of 5 stars.
Great food, lovely staff
We were on holiday and took in a big order for 7 of us. The girls were brilliant, got us everything we asked for. The food was delicious!
First class service. Used them for years. I took my damaged phone into them at 430pm. I explained it was a business phone and would struggle not having it. The stayed open a wee bit later to hel0 me out. FIRST CLASS SERVICE !!
This is my local chippy. Always great fish & chips from the friendly team. They've kept up the fine frying right through the lockdowns - good work & always worth a tip!
One of the best fish suppers I have ever had.Big portions,staff great,prices great, could not find any negatives.Ever in Dunoon you have to visit this great chippy
