Excellent, best suppliers in Newcastle, we don’t like using anywhere else. Friendly and helpful staff that always give a warm welcome. Nev goes above and beyond to make sure we can be as efficient with our time as possible and when we’re tight with time in the morning he does everything he can to help us get away ASAP, which always keeps our customers happy. Can’t recommend this place enough.
Needed some timber for a repair to an old porch. Funny dimensions. Owen said “Not a problem. We’ve got an expert who can do anything”. Nev came along. “What sizes?” … “Yeah, I can do that for you. Easily”. And he cut a six foot fence post to exactly the size I needed it on a bench saw in minutes. They couldn’t have been more helpful. None of that sharp intake of breath and shaking of the head you get in some places. They were fantastic. Couldn’t recommend the place more highly. Quay Timber. Great.
It's a great pity there aren't more companies to treat customers as quaytimber do. Really efficient, extremely helpful, good prices and delivered spot on time. Two young men off Britain's strongest man carried all my fencing and cement through the garage to the rear garden,as I'm 80, it was a massive help ,thank you all so much .
