Turned up here with a good friend and my brother last night… we have been coming here for over 25 years and the place is still the same. Pool tables are good but need a slight clean, was a busy Friday but didn’t have to wait for a table. The staff are friendly and always able to help if you need, the prices depending on the day you go could be 241 or half price but that wasn’t the case for a Friday night but still reasonably priced. Will be back here again soon!
They have two other branches Upton Park and Mile End. A range of 15 snooker and 10 pool tables. They serve warm food and lots of drinks and snacks are available. There is pay and display parking available on the backstreets behind the club. Good atmosphere for enjoying some practise or competition. Members only club. So you need 2 forms of ID photo and address. The joing fee is £8.50 for men and £4.50 for women per year. eh. You can go if you wanna take advantage of the half price on monday and saturday. But its not worth it on any other days at all. There's 0 maintenance, worn and dirty table cloth and pockets of most tables are crooked.

Great Snooker and Pool club. Been coming here for a few years now and normally come with a couple mates who have also since joined as members. The atmosphere has definitely improved since I’ve been coming with quiet music playing in the pool area which is a lot more chilled as you would like it and then the snooker room is respectful with people not being too loud to allow serious players to practice. They have a range of cues for you to use, sometimes you may need to look around to get a decent one but never any issues. Some tables could do with a reclothe but nothing major. Cheap prices for games and food all night, alcohol is served till 11pm and very friendly staff who are willing to help and have a joke with you. Would definitely recommend if you enjoy playing.
I love this place. I play pool every 2 or 3 weeks. It’s not fancy and some of the fittings etc are maybe due a refresh. But the tables are great, the staff are ace and the overall atmosphere is what you want. Drinks and food are appropriate and good value too. Highly recommended.
I found the guy with the beard a touch disrespectful, even confrontational. Clearly not an asset to the business. Not the cleanest of places to be by far, the match play table has seen its days the balls are worn. The man who took my membership even had time to assume we were on first name terms. We are not. I would suspect if they tidy up his attitude and he work harder on the upkeep of the workplace, that it wouldn't be 90% unoccupied on a Saturday. He even found time to sit opposite me, in my view, attempting to put me off playing. Even trying to address me as "Boss" and goad me into a hostile conversation. He's king of the qstix domain. A proper champ. Not.
It's expensive and the tables aren't great but the beer is good, the service is lovely and the clientelle always seem nice
Very good tables and respectable staff. Can get busy on Mondays but I can understand why with half price Mondays.
