The market town of Pwllheli is clean, tidy and well looked after. The community is really welcoming, and the public transport services the town often, making it the perfect place to go on holiday.
This station has no immediate parking so if carrying heavy baggage the walk is about 200 meters to the main town car park.nThe station is mostly unmanned but the information screens answer most questions. Purchasing tickets cannot be done on site sonPurchase online if you can.nThere's a taxi rank attached for ease of use. The toilet is a hit and and miss affair as only available when office is manned. Should you need one urgently the weatherspoons opposite will oblige.
Close to the middle of town and with a cafe on the platform with an outdoor covered seating area. Taxi rank directly outside and a very short walk to the bus station. Across the road from the local Wetherspoons. No ticket office - pay on the train. End of the line!
Enjoyed but couldn't visit anywhere because no dogs allowed and there where a lot of people with dogs
