Properly scruffy gym I was mortified first time I went what on earth has happened!? Pretty sure it was on a different site previously, which was much better. Equipment left all over the place, seats wobbly, no toilet roll multiple occasions on a morning, overcrowded and it STINKS. Knock the place down and put in a JD Gym. This gaff is a rip off.
Trying to get a simple answer from the Q&A section on their website is hardwork! The simple question is: 'Is puregym open on Christmas day?' and theirs not a answer for it! Yes we know puregym is a 24 hour operation, yes we know puregym is open on bank holidays.. But! Is it open on Christmas day?? Christmas is different to a Bank holiday incase Puregym have never heard of it before. How hard is that a question to answer?
Cool gym with a large floor space! Many cardio machines including stair stepper and bikes, good sized studio along with a good selection of free weight / plated machines. My only recommendation would be to add some more machines for legs that use plates such as the decline leg press! Otherwise amazing gym with friendly staff.
Lousy gym... my previous gym was also puregym, the one in Salford. I was paying £16.99 a month the gym is great, big, well equipped, machines in good condition, very clean. this Eccles puregym is a shame, very small, we cannot train well as machines are crowded due to lack of space, the machines are in a sorry state.... some of them make a lot of noise... there is no variety of machines at all, equipment is very deteriorated. changing rooms/shower/locker very small. lack of cleanliness. Bad gym, you should at least lower the high price of £22.99, it's not fair to pay that monthly fee for a gym with such lousy services.
The layout of the gym is horrendous and it’s just a constant state. Nothing is where it should be, bars all over the floor. Health hazard at best!
