Please keep in mind, you do have to book this place first before you have their services. And you have to pay a deposit. The deposit comes off the price. We listed a few things for take away to our new home, i think it was about 20 items. They were more than happy to take extra stuff. The staff are pleasant and the service i was happy with. Get a quote first though. A surveyor will come to your house and see what needs to be taken first and then give you a quote there and then, if you are happy, the surveyor will then book a date for you to come to the office and pay the deposit then book you in for removal.

Hired purdies never would use again absolute rubbish charged us nearly £1300 for a local move two house 1 a 1 bed bungalow hardly any furniture bad weather stopped first move they said everything ok no charge then we got moved late next time then hit us with all these extras ! Basically holding ur furniture ransome so a £800 move ends up nearly £1300 ! So beware !!!!

We used this company on 3rd September 2016 for our home removal from Glasgow to Kinross.  From start to finish, we found their service to be exceptional, with a willingness to be flexible and accommodating.  The removal men, Iain and Thomas, were first class, exercising the utmost care and attention with our furniture and effects, finding imaginative ways to overcome some logistical difficulties.  Moving home can be extremely stressful, but Purdie without doubt made it look easy.  Thanks once again.
