Microcannular Tumescent Liposuction

Dr. Gupta is one of the very few doctors in the UK and Europe to offer both Vaserlipo and microcannular liposuction, or ‘Microlipo’ and is probably the only practising doctor in the UK and Europe to be trained extensively in the art of microcannular liposuction by the inventor himself, the legendary Dr Jeffrey Klein of USA.What makes him different from the rest is that he employs an innovative approach to body sculpting and puts great value in achieving more natural-looking results.

This pioneering fat removal procedure is performed under local anaesthetic, requires next to no recovery time and leaves no scarring, making it the safest and most advanced lipo technique.

Dr. Gupta is highly qualified having trained as a GP with a special interest in dermatology at Oxford Deanery. He is now a member of the British College of Aesthetic Medicine and the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine.

His expertise in the field of surgical and cosmetic procedures stem from years of training and the amount of experience he has gathered over time.

He is a qualified GP with training in Dermatology with special interest in Aesthetic and Cosmetic Medicine. His varied experience includes pathology, neurosurgery, accident and emergency work, psychiatry, paediatrics, ENT and dermatology.

He also specialises in skin rejuvenation and anti-ageing techniques and the treatment o skin conditions including acne and acne scarring, warts, moles, facial veins, keloid scars and melasma. He has carried out more than 3,000 procedures to date.

One of Dr. Gupta’s particular areas of expertise is the use of laser treatments to repair scarring and pigmentation on the face. Patients have travelled from all over the world to seek his expertise and be treated by him.

He has had extensive training in Microcannular Liposuction using tumescent technique under the tutelage of the inventor of the treatment himself, Dr. Jeffrey Klein. He trained in the U.S.A in the art and use of tumescent anaesthesia and performs about 400 procedures every year.

Apart from his training and education, he is a member of the British College of Aesthetic Medicine and the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. He is the lead aesthetic physician and Joint Medical Director at The Private Clinic, which was established in 1983 in Harley Street. The clinic has pioneered a wide-range of non-invasive cosmetic, surgical and medical treatments including Tummy Tuck procedures.

Dr. Gupta is regularly called upon by the media for his expert opinion. He has featured on Channel 4’s Embarrassing Bodies as well as chat shows for several BBC Radio programmes.
