I don't really trust any garage as I've been messed around in the past by other garages and I usually service my own vehicles but due to a lack of time I decided to get my car serviced and MOTd at Prothoros. 

I pre marked some of the service items before hand so I know they changed the air/oil filters and the oil is new. I have to trust that the oil is the correct weight and that other service items were done correctly but the car went through its MOT with no problems, there were no additional costs above what was quoted for and the staff were very polite and professional. Five stars.

I have not lived in the area for very long and needed to find a local garage that I could rely upon. I have a slightly old and worn, but very much loved, car. This year alone I have visited the guys at Protheroes 3 times for typical wear and tear issues and M.O.T. 
I found the service provided to be of an excellent standard, with a completely professional and pro active team of people. All with completely reasonable prices. 
I will be recommending Protheroes to all family, friends and colleagues.

Took my car in with a minor fault. Came back fixed but with two additional major faults making the car unusable. Protheroes wouldn't do anything with their the customer is always wrong policy. Will never use them again Wouldn't trust them to change my wiper blades
