Once again another daughter has had a first baby here. Nothing has improved! Labour ward is fine but once on the ward, in this case Lyndhurst, it all goes downhill. No breakfast delivered until 9:15! New mums were starving! Not a good experience- when will someone sort it out? The portrayal on One Born is so different. Staff still have attitude- lack of communication. No one answers the buzzer at the entry door. Needs a complete overhaul - the atmosphere is sour and unfriendly.

Couldn't believe that the early pregnancy unit was right next to the maternity and neonatal ward. I was going for an early scan after symptoms of miscarriage and seeing newborn babies on the way in made for a very traumatic experience. I'm not from the area and the hospital by where I used to live had this section away from the maternity hospital for this very reason. Absolutely disgusted

My wife as been fast asleep since bout 9 on Lydhurst ward . She woke up at about 12 soaking wet even the bed and sheets were wet. Crying in pain she pressed her buzzer on to call a midwife and they came and cleaned it up. Her tummy is really painful and have loads of pressure down below and at the bottom of her back. Bout 10 minutes later she got bk in 2 bed and curled in a ball cause it's really hurting. Midwife MISTY if thats her real name comes in and says " i think we need to talk" my wife said "ok." She said the water that she was covered in was cold. Midwife says "Your waters haven't broke, if they had broke they'd be warm. I know u had a big loss last year and that you want skye here now". She's accused her of putting water there herself due to our loss son nathan. My wife said "I've been here since 7pm last night in agony so why am i here then." she said "cause of the test coming back positive." Where am i gonna get water from being fast asleep. Personally i think the Lydhurst Ward is a disgrace 4 how they treat pregnant women up in that ward !!!!
