Stopped off in Blyth for a break on a journey from Orkney to Cambs. Found this pub open so went in. The locals, realising we were from far away, took the mickey before offering to buy us drinks and play pool! I had friends in this area in the '80's and a few in the pub tried to find out if they were still around, which was nice.
Really friendly, owners staff and punters
Clean and bright, but the tenants have a lot to learn in the hospitality industry, on a more positive note they are trying to address problem clientele from the past, great start but much improvement needed.
Staff were brilliant especially Dawn ...met up with two local celebrities who made me feel really welcome this is an old school pub becoming rarer .
Had a great couple of hours catching up with an old friend. Friendly bar staff,not to busy.
Could of been better. No Wifi as advertised.
Very friendly staff and not bad on price's for pints
Management don’t pay their bills
Friendly atmosphere good music fair prices definitely be back
