Don't judge a book by it's cover! The cuisine is very good and portions are huge! There are many vegetarian options. The staff stays friendly even when it gets very busy. Prices are reasonable.The location itself has quite some character, looks like it kept most of it's 19th century appearance. Recommended!
Extremely disappointing dinner. The butter chicken had so much sugar in it that it could instead be considered as a dessert. None of us had it after tasting it. Cash only payment option. You are not provided a proper bill too which is quite shady. I've attached the bill for your reference, which we were not allowed to keep with us. This is NOT an Indian cuisine. The only Indian thing about this hotel is the name of the hotel. Surely never going back again.
Their service was really good . Food taste was 10/10 . That's melt my heart . Dining decorations was lookative . I'm very much impressed about their service .
We came for dinner my sister asked high chair for her kid staff was rude he said you can go to different restaurants. After a couple of minutes he returned and asked for the order we said we need five minutes he took menus from us. After this experience, I can say they are not kid-friendly and they are racist. Disappointed Portions were too small. Not enough at all .atmosphere was totally unpleasant.
Good Bangladeshi style Indian restaurant in Portree with a huge number of menu options. I had a venison Balti dhal, which was a first.
I had a great experience at this lovely restaurant over the weekend. The food was lovely and delicious! The prawns and vegetables were absolutely delicious. The staff were very professional, kind, polite and attentive and delivered with great care. Would definitely recommend!
Really good Indian!! Don't let the reviews put you off. We we're worried what it would be like but it was great. The staff were really friendly when we went in to pick up our takeaway and the food was really good would eat from here again!!
Waste of money Plz don’t visit..only the name is prince of India otherwise nothing was Indian U can order butter chicken as desert Spoiling the name of India by telling false and bad history of India to the local people visiting at their place They haven’t even provided us the bill and instead asked for cash only Very unhygienic and should take some serious legal action against this place PS- It’s not an Indian restaurant Plz have a look at the pic
£70 for 2 meals, tiny 4 pieces of chicken and half a prawn in a Chicken & Prawn dish. Lamb biryani was nice, but tiny pieces of lamb. Nice friendly staff, but it was a rip off!!!! Felt as if we had been mugged. Don’t waste your money! Parking: Massive potholes. Very rundown area and restaurant.
I have been everywhere in the UK. So far one of the best chicken tandoori grill and tikka masala Indian restaurants I had tried. The way they grill chicken tandoori was so good, moist and with onions. It’s the only halal place available for us to eat at the time. They only serve halal chicken.Recommended dishesTandoori Chicken
