More than ample multi storey car parking structure. Huge selection of shops and places to eat. Literally something for everyone. Scenery is amazing as it is in the middle of Durham with lovely river and cathedral overlooking. Wouldn't recommend for people with mobility issues as the area gets a little tyring walking around but you can easily spend all day there without noticing. Parking is reasonably cheap considering location.

Good shopping centre in a good location. Car park has plenty of spaces and isn't too pricey, but the traffic management around the area is a bit of a nightmare. Perfect if you want to do a spot of shopping, grab some lunch, then go for a nice walk. Quite 'studenty' so good for bars and nights out.

Their parking lot is to be avoided especially if you have an SUV ok or full-size auto.  Hardly enough room to enter.  I avoid the place and park across from Freeman's Quay.   I do like to visit the shops there.

aren't any good shops and parking is expensive.  I use the market and not much else.  On a more positive note there are some good coffee shops!

This belongs to Durham wildlife trust. It's actually behind frankland prison! You can walk to durham from here. Lakes with swans and many different wildfoul.  Very peaceful.
