We, as a family, love Prezzo and when on holiday in the New Forest we always visit this Prezzo. Why? Because apart from the food always being superb it is the service that adds to the experience. We have to therefore make a shout out to Lucia who was absolutely amazing. More so because we ate outside with 4 small dogs and a large dog who where on the whole well behaved but at times noisy. Add a two year old child then always a difficult task for anyone. Lucia took all this in stride was absolutely amazing around the dogs, who where excitable, and deserves all the thanks in the world. Looking forward to next year's visit.
This was my favourite Prezzo until this evening when we we "greeted" by a very sullen and rude middle aged lady who said we would have to wait at least 15 minutes until we could sit down as they were so busy. There were only a handful of people inside and they all looked as unhappy as I now felt so we made our excuses and left. Sad really as we always enjoy eating here. Have never experienced rude staff at this Prezzo, they are usually great but it ruined our anniversary meal out. There should be no excuse for this on a wet Sunday evening, thankfully our local pub managed to do a decent meal for us and with a smile too!
So my three stars ? Great location / super atmosphere / really attentive waiting staff. Well in four words - crab and lobster Ravioli - @ £15.50 one would expect more than 5 or 6 parcels - when the dish arrived it looked like a small starter. I rejected it before the dish hit the table. The manageress dealt with the matter quickly and exchange for a burger instead. It seemed I was one of a number of clients who had either rejected or complained about the dish. So knowing that there was an issue with the Ravioli prezzo should have either withdrawn the dish or explained in more detail what it consisted of - that would have been the right thing to do.
Great food and service is brilliant too. Atmosphere is better on the smaller tables at the front, more intimate. We had a large group on a long table at the back so not as nice but still a great experience.Food: 5/5
Ana served us and was very lovely, fast and efficient. The food and beverages arrived quickly and were very good…blood orange lemonade- yum! Thank you for the great service from Ana and the team in the kitchen and bar!
Service good , food average, prices have gone from reasonable to ridiculous . Virtually double what they were a year ago. They have lost me as a regular customer.
Pizza great. Salad very tired, wilted with lots of brown edges. Chicken on the salad was generous and perfectly cooked. Service was very slow despite few customers - no sense of urgency and we had to ask for someone to take our order after a long wait. Also had to ask again for water and once more for cutlery. A real mixed bag I'm afraid. Won't be in a hurry to return which is a shame.
What a lovely dinner I had with my friend this evening. The food really is excellent and above all the staff are so friendly. It was lovely eating in the courtyard. Well done team!
Waiting along time for someone to come and ask us if we would like s drink not busy either at allFood: 5/5
My partner and I went in for dinner without a booking we went into the little room where you wait to speak to someone to be seated. There was a couple being delt with and we were 2nd in queue, when the welcoming staff member came back a other couple had come in and was patiently waiting like us. The lady on the front came back and looked at us not very happy may I add , asked us "do we have a booking" we said no, she then asked thr couple behind us if they did and they said yes. So after waiting to be seen this lady then totally ignored us and delt with the other couple first, extremely rude! We left straight way! From my 3 minutes of being in this particular prezzo I will not be coming nor with I recommend this particular prezzo either! Lost easy business on a Tuesday evening.
