Had a chance of a couple of days in October before the park closed for the season. It was my second visit as   we enjoyed our first visit earlier in the year. Lovely area, clean facilities, wonderful staff,  nice and quiet and great for doing a bit of plane spotting/ photography. Unfortunately 3 hours into our mini break I managed to trap my foot between the campervan floor and step which ended up with me in Crosshouse for six days with a broken leg, dislocated ankle and a couple of broken bones in my foot. Can't thank Alexis from the bar enough for administering first aid and calling an ambulance, keeping touch with the emergency services by talking to medics on the phone and sending photos my injury to them and for keeping my hubby and cat calm while everything was going on. You were an absolute star Alexis, thank you. Will be sure to pop in and see you next visit.

Very nice reception. Excellent spot for our motorhome and the few planes there are not a problem. Great pub and restaurant with a wonderful chef who was so kind as to help us find a gaz tank. Swiss tourists on our way northLocation: 5/5

We had an awesome meal, lovely wood fire keeping us all warm, in the lovely pub inside the camp site.met some lovely locals and the barman went out of his way  to make us feel welcome.  Ps. His  Service and food was excellent.thank you.

Great site to visit. The staff keep it spotless and are very responsive with any info/help you require. The site club is cosy with a great ambience. You can also walk into the town along the coast which takes about 20 mins to be met with decent bars, restaurants and shops. Prestwick airport isnt that far from the site, which is good if you enjoy watching aircraft fly over..

Beautiful park, with an easy check in. It is near a busy airport, but if any planes went over through the night, I didn't hear them. Needs a bit of exploring to find everything, but a gorgeous place to look around, so no problem there.

Great site!  Location is great, clean, entertainment was great and food good.  Also very friendly locals on the site

Great wee park good entertainment pitches are £30 pre night just a wee bit expensive

**EDIT** sadly we can't come back as they no longer allow tents so have downgraded to 3 stars although would definitely return if able to camp.***  Well maintained. Great for camping we camped, touring and statics. Friendly staff and guests/regulars. 5 minutes to the beach. My kids loved seeing the planes overhead ,landing/ taking off flights don't fly throughout the night. Will definitely come back.
