I visited Prestonkirk in East Linton as part of our Family Tree research. I wasn't able on that occasion to see the inside of the building but it is one of my favourites so far in East Lothian. They give you a brief and very interesting history on the church from its earliest times to present. I love the stonemasonry work on the outside of this church. As mentioned my interest at the time was mostly to locate burial places of our family. I managed to find a couple of headstones and online found a map with information where people were interred. What I always like to see is the memorial's raised in honour of the Service Personnel who sacrificed their lives for our freedoms. They have a large enough carpark around the side and it's worth a visit for historic, religious or research reasons.
