Brought a Ford focus from car stock in September had nothing but trouble with the car since it was delivered to me it was given to me with a slow puncture in the driver side rear a couple of weeks later the exhaust went witch cost £850 to put right I phoned car stock and they told me to phone the warranty people so I did and they told me that they only cover the engine side of things now the shock absorbers have gone witch is going to cost another £600 to sort out. I’m a mechanic how the hell did this car get through the M.o.t in August I have only done 1000 miles in 5 months of having the car. I think trading standards need a call before CAR StOCK UK kill somebody like I say I’m a mechanic and there’s no way the car should have gone through a M.O.T. Trading standards here I come to stop this company from doing this to more people than they already have. J.Ward
AVOID AT ALL COSTS GOT MY FINANCE CAR FROM HERE MARCH 2023. CAR ECU FELL OUT 5 WEEKS LATER. ENGINE JAMMED AND WAS COMPLETELY BROKE. TRIED TO SAY IT WAS MY FAULT, THE CAR HAD DONE 213 MILES SINCE HAVING IT! HAD BLACK BOX DATA TO PROVE IT WASNT DUE TO DRIVING! HAD THE CAR LOOKED AT AND IT WAS PROPER BOTCHED. HAPPY TO DELIVER 65 MILES AWAY FPR FREE JUST TO GET RID! REFUSED TO HELP AT ALL! CAR SAT BROKE FROM MAY TO NOVEMBER, CAR OMBUDSMAN MADE THIS SHOCKING COMPANY TAKE THE CAR BACK AFTER 7 MONTHS! STAFF WERE NOT HELPFUL, AVOIDED ME COMPLETELY. SHOCKING COMPANY.

Don't be fooled by the few fake reviews they've got their friends to leave in an attempt to boost their rating - this is the worst company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Had this car less than 3 months & had nothing but problems with it and the dealership. I was never informed the car was to be driven to me rather than transported so the guy literally parked it on my drive and said he had to leave straight away - I didn't even have a chance to open the drivers door let alone start the engine to check it over. Straight away I noticed there was various damage and tears to the interior, the radio/bluetooth didn't work, the rear seat handle was broken & the aircon was totally empty - none of this was mentioned in the description or reflected in the cost of the vehicle. 2 weeks into owning the car the front left tyre blew out and the garage informed me both front tyres were bald despite supposedly having just passed an MOT - the dealership refused to pay. A week after that the car broke down for the first time, 20miles from home on the middle of a busy junction with my two babies in the car - it needed a new brake switch. Then the car failed again due to needing a new battery - the dealership refused to pay. It then broke down again needing a new engine stabiliser. I tried to appeal to their better nature by explaining I've been unable to use the vehicle for 50% of the time I've owned it, its costing me a fortune, including money in childcare bills where I've been unable to get the children to nursery, it's affecting my son who's autistic non verbal as I've missed vital appointments & my own work, id also saved them £170 by getting a family member to tow the car rather than have it revovered a favour i regret now but they seem determined to make life as difficult as possible by dodging phone calls and emails from myself and the finance company, and telling me only to contact their solicitor from now on who also doesn't reply. As it stands right now it's broken down again and the dealership are refusing to accept it back or help financially with the losses I've occurred £460 NOT including loss of earnings and tax and insurance for a car thats not road worthy All they've offered is for me to take it to them knowing thats not possible as theyre 200 miles away so they can attempt to repair it. I'm in the process of getting trading standards involved. Appalling way to treat people.
Tyres replaced after 2 weeks even after passing MOT. Cords exposed. Blaming everyone but themselves. Would never recommend or use again.
I bought a car from here in June this year and have been very happy with it so far. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. I would absolutely use Car Stock Uk again and can’t recommend them enough.

A pleasure from start to finish. I was very nervous about buying a used car, even though I'd already made my mind up when I saw the car I wanted. Questions answered reassuringly and all went very smoothly. Very happy with the whole process - 12 month MOT included, 6 months warranty and even sorted a minor advisory. Got a car for my parter through finance, its broken down 3 times in the 4 months of having it each time with a different issue, it's been a month since it last broke down and its been sat at the garage since because the dealership are refusing to cooperate leaving my parter and our 2 children without any form of transport as I work away. We've been told to only contact their "solicitors" from now who don't reply either though if you look at their own reviews it seems theyre just as corrupt as the dealership so it makes sense they work together this is clearly just a tactic to make our lives as inconvenient as possible and slow things down as the law is very clear and we've already been told if we choose to take it to the FOS it will be in our favour.
