I work for Premium Linguistic Services as a Creole Interpreter on a when require basis. The booking staff are very pleasant and I enjoy working for Premium Linguistic Services. I highly recommend their services.
I don't recommend to work for this company because they don't respect individuals at all. Firstly, I was contacted about a rushed assignment which was a court hearing the following day 50 miles away from where I live for £50 which was meant to cover my one hour long translation service and the return tickets. I attended the court but I couldn't find the client and then I was sitting there for half an hour as the agency was trying to get hold of the client but she never answered their calls so I was told to go home and would be paid as the client was impossible to reach, later on I was shocked when they phoned me to say that the client was waiting for me in another room therefore, I failed this assignment and I would not be paid anything. This was a horrendous experience that I don't wish to any fellow translator. 3 years later today, I was contacted again for another assignment which would be an ongoing 2 hours/2 days translation a week for 2 months but due to other commitments when I told them I would be available for 2 weeks only they were happy to offer the job for 2 weeks for £35/day which should be covering the mileage and 2 hours translation service but I was happy to take it knowing I had 2 weeks off in lieu to make more money. However, having read the terms and conditions they were happy to take off a £67-70 from my payment for deductions as DBS check, badge, postage etc making me work a whole week for free so I decided to not take the assignments and I would warn anyone to take the proper precautions before entering into agreements with them. In my opinion, It's also mind-blowing that they have the audacity to pay minimal wage for translation services like it's a lowest level job and It's quite suspicious and I don't think it's even legal that they don't need any DBS or badge wearing requirements for rushed assignments to get people on board.
I wouldn't recommend this company. Serive is nice enough so that's why I am giving 2 stars. First time I got assignment I actually arrived at the agreed upon site and after waiting for 15 minutes, I got the information that it was never confirmed. Another two times, it got cancelled few hours before it was due so really no time to reschedule your plans and you get no money for it. Ive been registered with PLS for few months, I earned 0£ and paid 60 for DBS enhanced. There are weeks when there is radio silent and then they text and call you every few days with mostly some far away assignments for 45minutes which doesnt make any sense whatsoever. 2/5 wouldnt recommend this company.

I did my internship in this company and I keep very good memories from it. Beyond that, I have noticed that all employees do their best to provide the best service to the customers in the shortest possible time. Everyone is very professional and there is a very good atmosphere within the company. Everyone is very friendly and I am very glad I did my internship with them. If in the future I have the opportunity to work with them again, it would be a great pleasure. Thank you Premium Linguistics Services for this month over here !
I do not recommend to work for this company! From the beginning, they will be warming you about if you don't do this and that you'll be penalised, won't get paid, etc. No guidance for those who just started doing this kind of work. I had one job from them which I was rushed I had been offered a job before I properly registered with them and 6 months later, still haven't been paid for it also, had to buy a train ticket for that job for my own money and never got the money for that either. Never got any other job offered from them even before that whole payment issue has started. Anytime I try to contact the office, nothing get sorted with their arrogant attitude.
Very good company where I had my internship to validate my degree. People are very nice and I've been properly coached! If you want to know about what represents the work in a company, it's a good place for you. The team is very friendly and the manager was helpful to learn new things and supports us. It permits to target our objectives and our future paths. The translator, Ana, is very nice even if she does not have many tasks to give us because ain't no many tasks in French. I'm happy to have worked with PLS, and recommend the experience.
It's a shame that I have to score it 'one'. I found Amelia very rude, treating me that she will delete me off the system just because I cancelled a booking as a interpreter. Worked in the industry over 10 years and no one has ever been rude to me as I ayn't rude myself. The booking was not confirmed as I was told that once the booking is confirmed with the client they will let me know so I was assuming the job was no longer taking place. I would request the company to not keep Amelia as she is not professional! Also, I emailed promptly after I received the confirmation, I would NEVER cancel a job last minute!
The worst company to interpreter please please be carful with this company because they don’t interpreter like you say if you enquire kurdish sorani interpreter they provide kurdish Badani they don’t care and they have avery small limited to interpreter.Believe me some of them they need interpreter in certain circumstances.
