Incredible chipper! Didn't want to admit to my Wexford boyfriend how good it was but I've finally accepted it beats my own Dublin childhood chipper. Great food, great service!
I’m guessing this place as been fantastic for many over the years. We were just unlucky while visiting Wexford this week and this chippy was close by where we were staying. Paid €26 for 2 fish, 1 chips and 1 carton of peas. When we got the food back, the fish was cold, soggy and like rubber/chewy. The one star is for the chips, they were great. €9.50 each for the fish. I got there just after 8pm, so gave me fish that had been sitting in the counter for a while. Not good
This was by far the worst fish and chips I've ever had, bought what was advertised as fresh fish, it was hard and unbelievably greasy. My partner ordered Nachos without cheese and got them with a ton of it!!!! Won't ever go back. Avoid.
Just added up what we ordered yesterday and was charged 30 euros for two meals and two cans of coke and it came to around 20 euro. So someone has miscalculated and we have been over charged! Disgusting as tourists from Liverpool we will not be recommending
One of the best chippers in Wexford town. Love their fish n chips, you cannot go wrong with that. Rissoles are my favorite. Nice ladies there, very quick and polite.
Best chippy in Wexford town.... nobody does a better rissole anywhere... believe me, I've tried loads....
10 out of 10 for their fish & chips! Enjoyed their fare along the Quay watching the moonrise yesterday Sunday 23rd August '21, which added to the experience. The server was more than happy to provide a wooden fork, napkins & ketchup upon request. My only qualm was their early closing time of 21:00, as I was lucky to have made it there before then!
Heard it was the best fish and chips in Wexford so had to give it a try. Food was really nice and tasty, although staff could be friendlier. A nice experience nevertheless.
