After missing out on having Ireland's best fish&chips on my bicycle trip around Ireland in June 2022 I have returned and I'm over the moon to have done that. It's been THE BEST TAKE OUT EVER. I've ordered their award winning Fish & Chips and also an award winning Gurmet Steak Burger to takeaway. Thank you, young lady at the counter, sorry now for not asking your name. I enjoyed it very much, including the extras. Highly recommended to try their food. This guys know their business.
Great quality chipper. The chips where some of the nicest I've had from a take away. Nice selection of dishes. Disappointed cod was not available. The service was fast and nice level of customer service. The chipper itself has a good atmosphere loads of information and things to read and look at while you wait. The prices are a little bit higher than many other chippers but the quality is also higher here.
Have been to Mangans many times over the years, really love their food. On this occasion, we have been extremely disappointed. The smaller portion of chips and 2 single goujons never heard of single goujons sold before anywhere, drinks and 2 dips.......€20.60. I'm disgusted I wasted my money, will not be going again!!!!
Used to love this chipper. Food used to be so fresh. Last night it was absolutely horrible. I got gourmet chicken burger. Was half cold and tasted like fish. The burger bun just fell apart. Was horrible. My partner got double beef burger. He said it was stale. The burger was defo cooked an hour before I ordered. No freshness at all. Chips were horrible too. Will not be using this chipper again. A waste of money.
It’s not often you see “Double Fried” offered as the standard chip available. Most chippers simply churn their chips out as quickly as they can. Here they take the extra time to give the customer the perfect chip. And it is reflected in how the proprietor has invested in the presentation of their establishment. It would be disrespectful to call it a chip shop based on its appearance. We got the Battered Cod & Chips - two portions of fish and chips is the standard here. Full to the brim and delighted with the meal. Our order for 5 hungry people was ready in 8 minutes. The time it took to drive there. Worth selecting Mangan’s - lovely staff
Excellent chipper, food spotlessly clean, very quick service, there is a reason this place is so busy. Will be back soon. Vegetarian options: Veggie Parking: On street, nxt to busy Doctors surgery, park behind Londis and walk up 2 mins, also near school. Wheelchair accessibility: On 1 level, door might be difficult but other customers will no doubt assist.
Proper chipper chips,here...and as for the burgers, tasty proper gourmet chicken and beef burgers. Really good. And although it is a take away, you might be lucky and have tour food in the sit down area if there free. Nice staff,and did I mention the proper chipper chips???

Had the monkfish and chips there tonight, absolutely deadly, food is always excellent and staff very friendly.
Lovely staff but chips tasted a bit stale. I think a little overpriced due to its modern decor. Cod was good quality however.
