Easy to find from the station, staff lovely, we had dinner and Maria and Chris were very busy but took time to speak to everyone. The bartender was excellent didn’t get his name but wore a black and white bandana. He made me two lovely cocktails. The bed and room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was hot and you could just sit and relax.
We have stayed here several times now and use it as a base. Friendly welcoming staff, clean and tidy, lovely food and bar area.nnFrom the lady who checked us in sorry did not get name and to the barman/front of house who again sorry did not get name and to Maria who served us dinner who was a lovely, polite and helpful young woman.nnWe will be back again.
3/5nnMy stay at the Premier Inn Cumberland Place in Southampton was a bit disappointing overall. The rooms felt quite dated, and some of the furniture — including the chairs — was broken, which affected comfort and the general impression of the hotel. It’s clear that the rooms would benefit from a proper refresh.nnOn the positive side, the staff were genuinely pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was really nice and well-prepared, easily the best part of the stay. One small suggestion: it would be better if the team didn’t ask guests what time they plan to eat dinner while they’re still being welcomed in for breakfast — it feels a bit unnecessary and rushed at that moment.nnWith some updates to the rooms and smoother guest interaction, this hotel could offer a much better experience.
Great location, we struggled to do self check in but thankfully a staff member appeared and was able to sort it.nThe room was nice but unfortunately the bed was too soft for me so I didn't get any sleep whatsoever.
Car parking not available on site so I parked in multi storey around the corner.nClean and comfortable room.nEvening meal was very good value and deals on drinks and cocktails.nPremier Inn breakfast was as good as always.
