The staff here make up for it's shortcomings. It's clean and comfortable but dated and quite tatty.nHowever the staff were friendly and helpful.nWe had breakfast and were greeted by Marc who was exceptionally helpful and friendly. He was the only person serving at breakfast but did the job of five! He was attentive, efficient, and pleasant to everyone even though he was rushed off his feet! Nothing was too much trouble. A credit to Premier Inn and Beefeater.
Been informed by the bar manager that we can no longer upgrade our meal deals for unknown reasons, staying here for weeks at time trying to stick to the meal deal meams eating the same meals over and over again. The beefeater in general is in a terrible condition, sticky tables filthy toilets and lacklustre customer service with a chef arguing with a colleague that his clearly raw chicken was infact cooked. The hotel itself is in a prime location located minutes from the M1. Unfortunately the rooms fall far short ! The heating in several rooms DOES NOT work and when asked the staff simply say there's no room to move you. The showers are falling apart and the mattresses are very tired. Not a good overall experience here at all and if it wasn't for the fact that it's booked through a business accounts I very much doubt it would get many repeat customers at all.
A lovely hotel. Kate on reception was so helpful. Amazing customer service, she has really gone out of her way to help us. Thanks Kate, you are a a credit to the Premier Inn Brand!! We would highly recommend this hotel.
A bit of a tired and run down Premier Inn. Minor damage to things like the headboard and the light switch made the hotel feel tatty in places.nnSecondly, if you get room 55 ask to change. It's next to the stairwell and the door closing makes a bang loud enough to wake you upnnThe saving grace is the staff. All friendly and willing to help. Kate in particular gets a special mention for being not only very helpful, they also were friendly, cheery and nothing was a problem. It's down to Kate and her team the mark was not a 2 or 3 star.
This was our third visit this year. It is starting to look very tired. The bathroom was particularly bad with a stained floor. The tv supplied was very small and positioned on a shelf. You had to move to the front of the bed to read the on screen graphics. We stay here because the location is perfect for us. If it wasn’t for this we would now be looking to stay elsewhere.
