Had a lovely stay here over the weekend! Hotel is really modern and has a great feel to it. Reception staff were lovely and helpful. Rooms are great, massive bed and nice clean bathroom. We had breakfast each day and the selection was great and really tasty food! We didn’t have dinner here but the restaurant sounded buzzing and good fun! Good walk to the town to get to restaurants and pubs! Would definitely return and recommend to anyone in the area!
The hotel’s location is great, but my experience was disappointing. As a light sleeper, I requested a quiet room but was initially placed by the noisy elevator, then moved to a room near service rooms with constant noise. A third room was quiet but had a bad odor. Eventually, I was moved again, thanks to Christina, but my overall stay did not meet the standard I expect as an ACCOR member.
I have stayed at this hotel for one night, and not only where the prices very ok, it had a king size bed with an amazing mattress! It was the thick, North American style one which made my night sleep perfect!nTravelling extensively in the UK, this was such a nice treat! Will definitely stay there again!
Stayed just one night at this hotel in the heart of Northampton. Was there for leisure, not work.nThe room was lovely and clean and bright. Very newly decorated.nThe bathroom is very small. You couldn't swing a cat in there.nBut again bright and fresh. Loved that the shower controls were not under the shower head.nThings we were not happy with were the fact that there is a interconnecting door in all rooms. We asked if we could get a room without this, and were told we couldn't, and that there was no one currently checked into the room next to us. But only a few hours later you could hear the person next door drying their hair and moving around in the room. It felt like we were sharing a room. So really not happy about that. Made me feel very uncomfortable.nOur other complaint is that the website did not advise of ongoing refurb works at the hotel. Neither did the receptionist advise us of this. So was awoken by drilling, and banging at around 9.30am. This is fine if you are there for work, but not for leisure. So did not have a good stay. This should surely be advised prior to booking.
Very nice hotel, lovely rooms, decent breakfast included and friendly staff. Very well location for Northampton Town centre and the train station. Great experience for the price, would stay again
