Love premier Inn but some older or popular ones are starting to need refreshing. The door locks where tricky to use and heating in some rooms was not working properly also surprised at the noise from the room upstairs coming through.

Helpful receptionist, very friendly hotel, used as a stopover, to Beamish open air museum, and to see the amazing Angel of the North, both worth a visit. Actually used the sister hotel 5min walk, for breakfast as open an hour later on a sunday.

Very outdated. Room doors require a key to open. Bathroom is tired. Had to use the provided plug in oiled filled radiator

It was nice stay in premier inn.The staff were very friendly and showed great hospitality.

Situated in an ideal location at the side of A1. Made to feel very welcome throughout my stay Sue even took my bags for me as I never travel light haha. My room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and provided anything I required. It felt like home from home. Ate in the wagon, again lovely food and great service. Thankyou and Merry Xmas.
